Jomps’
Trust was set up by family and friends in Jomps’ memory after his
sudden and untimely death in 2002 at the age of twenty eight.
Jomps was an exceptionally happy young man who loved life and loved children and was always helping others. Each year we have chosen a different charity, specifically concerned with children and inspired by local people.
Since 2003 we have raised over £5000 for Rosy (Respite Nursing for
Oxfordshire’s Sick Youngsters), £2,500 for Kerala Link in India,
£4,000 for the Pattaya Orphanage in Thailand and we are now engaged in
fundraising for Compassion Direct in Argentina.
Our plans for these charities in 2008 include dance classes, the
Adderbury Christmas Market, a celebrity concert in April 2008 and a
Halloween ball in October.
Please do contact us for more information or to find out how you can help to make a difference.
