An experienced and professional 5-piece band comprising bass, drums, guitar, fiddle, melodeon and vocals, The Hookey Band are widely recognised as one of the UK's best dance bands, playing fast furious jigs and reels, classic songs for all to enjoy and leading guests in traditional dances with our Caller ‘extraordinaire’ who gets everyone up on the dance floor, having a laugh.
With over 100 bookings a year, we must be doing something right and we think that part of that is the rare combination of having both a great band AND a great Caller. All members of the band are talented musicians who have performed with many well-known artists over the years (including Fairport Convention, The Drifters, Feast Of Fiddles, Clarion and Little Johnny England - to name drop a few!).
So, you may be looking for corporate entertainment with a difference, a riotous night of audience participation for a special party, a village ‘do’ or student gig, or simply a flexible and professional band to entertain guests of all ages at your wedding?
